Back in December we ordered a new double door set for the back room. The old steel doors were a poor fit, let in water when it rained and were beginning to rust in various places.
We were happy with the quality and price of the previous door and windows from Tavares e Gralha so decided that they should supply the rest of them.
Of course the Covid situation has not helped but it is still very slow getting any progress.
But, finally, they came through with the goods and the doors were fitted last week. A huge improvement, now that the weather is getting warmer and slightly drier.
This time we remembered to ask for a handle on the outside to open the door without needing the key - something that seems to be unusual here in Portugal.
I am sure we will get to test the weatherproofness (is that a word? it is now) of the doors before next Winter, even though we could have done with it this season.
