After many delays and missed deadlines the kitchen is now installed and functional, albeit with a reduced electrical capacity until I can replace the main circuit breaker.

We have not yet found suitable bar-seats so the island is currently storing the café table and dining chairs.
The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail is excellent, the installation team were happy to listen to our requests and more than once were arguing with their boss in support of our ideas. Even though the basic design and layout was done by us the company tried to change a few things, presumably to make it easier for them. We stood firm and got what was quoted for.
We can certainly recommend Macambi for the quality, but if you want a kitchen fast then it would probably better to pay a visit to Ikea.
