Now that we have finished the painting Janet has made some temporary curtains to serve until the lockdown is over and we can get to the shops to get some proper material.
We still have a hope that the kitchen will be installed before May, but that date is rapidly approaching and no news is bad news on this subject.
The corner with the stairway looks much neater now that I have covered it with plasterboard, and it is now actually square to the wall - it was bugging me how 'wrong' it looked before.
Today's workout, the metalwork and plasterboard have now arrived to get the back room walls built.
Unfortunately, the false walls and ceiling are languishing in the workshop because, sadly, we still have no flooring. Due to the size of truck that the stuff arrived on the driver couldn't drive all the way to the workshop. Therefore I had to carry 20 plasterboard sheets from the truck into the workshop. So glad it is only April and not August based upon the amount of sweat.
