After yet another significant delay in updating the site we are now back with some more stories and pictures.
First off, the plaster-boarding is all installed and the laborious process of filling, then sanding the joints and corners is currently under way.
This is one of the skills, like plastering, which continually eludes me. But, with all this practice I really am getting better though I am not likely to achieve professional status.
In addition to the walls, we now have all of the new granite window cills installed.
But the new windows are still somewhere in limbo which means the rain and wind still pose a problem, especially during the recent storms.
On the plus side, we now have the air conditioning system installed. A surprisingly rapid process even taking into account covid and the fact that we are in Portugal.
Less than 10 days from first contact until installation is really impressive.
Unfortunately I had not quite finished the walls in that section yet, but a challenge is a challenge to be conquered.
