With a little over a month to go before our first Christmas here in Vale de Prazeres we have a plan to use the newly opened up space and expand our living area temporarily by removing most of the existing walls.
The eventual plan is a complete re-design of the layout for our needs but that cannot be done until the new floor is constructed, sometime towards Spring.
There was just one wall spoiling the view yesterday and I managed to remove most of one side during the afternoon.
Today I finished the task.
The rubble piles will have to remain but should be fairly easy to hide during the festive season.
Before that happens, we have perhaps 10 years worth of very dry kindling to recover from the rubble.
It is going to be an interesting Christmas.
