The work invested so far over the past year in the garden has paid off, to some extent.
Whilst we never expect to become completely self-sufficient, we have moved a step closer with tasty veggies from the small plot.
We previously had crop of peas, but failed to pick them soon enough and many dried up before we could use them.
Also, we planted a few potatoes which flourished and we enjoyed those some weeks ago.
As expected, the tomatoes have been crazy, even a few rogue plants which appeared where we had not even planned.
