We had quite a successful year growing some vegetables. Not everything was as good as we hoped but we are still getting used to the climate and growing conditions.
A small selection of the produce.
The peach tree has recovered well, although only six fruits grew to maturity and four of those fell before we picked them. It was very encouraging to see the improvement over last year's showing and the survivors tasted lovely.
We have a huge sprawling pumpkin plant in the middle of the plot but only one fruit has actually grown. It does look good though.
The persimmon tree had a good amount of fruit but many have dropped off the tree. The remaining fruit is growing nicely and hopefully we will have some quality produce.
