After two weeks of good work, especially as the weather has been so wet for most of that time, the progress has been impressive.
We have internal walls, some rendering both inside and outside, plumbing and drainage installed, electrical containment installed, and the base structure for the driveway gates.
Whilst some of the work has not gone exactly to our request - it is difficult to monitor everything all of the time - there is nothing that is wrong.
The shower space is slightly smaller than I created on the plan and the bedroom space is 10cm wider than on my plan.
The rendering base coat is on all the finished walls, presumably the staircase walls will be rendered after the stairs are built.
The vapour barrier is in place, the drainage tubes are installed and secured with cement.
In the main room the power sockets in the granite walls have been cemented into place.
And, in the bathroom, a large hole has been opened up for the extractor fan.
It's looking good for the finishing render skim and outside work next week.
