A few weeks ago the gate post for the back gate was built and, at the end of February, we ordered the gate.
With the weather drying up a bit last week I managed to get the post painted.
An email from Miguel Valente arrived earlier today which said that he was coming to fit the gate.
He arrived just after 3pm and less than an hour later we had a nice new back gate installed.
Though the lock is not exactly what I thought I had requested, it will suffice. We do not anticipate using this gateway on a regular basis so it will be closed and locked for most of its life..
Now we just need to get a move on with the fencing to secure the whole garden.
