One last bit of tiling was needed to finish the steps down to the guest suite door.
The original step down to the door was too high for safety, so I had to create an intermediate step.
I also replaced the drain gulley so that it would be level with the tiles. The basic cement surface was a bit ugly and we had a number of spare floor tiles from the original kitchen renovation.
We are still waiting for our local calceteiro to come back and evaluate the work to finish the driveway, hopefully before the winter sets in properly.
The recent rains have proved the ability to drain the steps and not transform into a paddling pool, which is encouraging.
