Janet has been busy once again with her new strimmer clearing the weeds and long grass from the garden. It's looking much less like a jungle now.
The apple trees, and cherry are in blossom, still plenty of oranges to pick and the tree that we were advised was possibly an almond now has little fruits showing.
Last weekend we gave the avocado tree a serious pruning and removed about 6 feet from the height, it looks much tidier and the plants growing underneath should now get much more light.
Now that the kitchen supplier has finally been to measure following our proposed design we have been able to make good progress with installing the plasterboard walls and insulation as well as setting out the power outlets.
And boxing in the concrete beam across the kitchen.
Once the new windows and door are installed then the long wall can be finished and painting can commence.
