With the new growing season looming, our thoughts turned to last year when the local cat population seemed to have designated our vegetable patch as their litter box.
My first option was the purchase of a gun, but Janet wasn't too keen on that.
The next choice is obviously to install a taller fence around the area, significantly cheaper too.
Now it has a 1 metre high fence which will not stop any determined feline invader but, especially as there had also been wild dogs using our garden as a toilet, it should make a difference.
Of course, a proper fence around the entire land will stop dogs and uninvited people from gaining entry - that project is still in the planning stage.
