After pruning and caring for the fruit trees over the past year we have had quite a few cherries from the small tree and many more from the big tree which fruited very late.
Last year it produced about 20 cherries in total.
The final batch from this year was harvested last weekend. Very tasty too.
There are still a few small peaches still growing on the tree and the other fruits have been really enjoying the recent rains.
We are looking forward to another great crop of persimmon, plum and avocado as well as the citrus fruits.
The nespera produced similar fruits to last year which looked nice and ripe from one viewpoint but were very unripe on the other side.
However, the tree produced enough for three very nice crumbles and a few that were good enough to eat raw.
