We know things go slowly here in Portugal and I'm sure this is no record.
Originally ordered in April, the garden wall coping stones and pillar caps have finally arrived.
Well, they came a couple of weeks ago but I only just got around to writing about it.
Now we have a much better surface on the wall, perfect for placing a wine glass safely when the sun comes out again.
Nice smooth granite to protect the wall against the rain.
With the same delivery, we received the granite pillar caps, with a modified design. A little more interesting than the proposed simple pyramid shape.
They have already attracted a few curious looks from people passing by.
We are very happy with the result and it just remains to get the driveway finished with the granite blocks, still waiting for the calceteiro to get back in touch.
