Finally the major work in the back room has been completed. Filling and painting the walls and ceiling all done, curtains made and fitted, more effective sealing round the door - although the with next major downpour it will probably still let the water in anyway.
We are just waiting for the set of down-light units to be delivered, hence the holes in the ceiling step.
It's good to know that my ability to hang doors has not been lost since we moved to Portugal.
There is still a small amount of trim work to do after we select and install the rodapé for both the kitchen and the back room but in the meantime we now have a nice room to sleep in, where the geckos and other critters will not be running around the walls and getting into bed with us during the night.
