After a long break from the site I decided it is time to make some more progress. We found a property that matches our requirements, mostly!
The place needs significant work to make it habitable but if we get possession soon enough there will be enough time to make all the necessary changes before Winter sets in. Our offer has been accepted in principle, but with four owners and at least one not resident in Portugal it may be a slow process to conclude the deal. We're hoping that our solicitor can speed things up.
