After such a long time and so much disappointment we finally have a house purchase in motion. Not the isolated farmhouse with acres of land that was in our sights but a house on outskirts of the village with a decent sized garden and easy access.
Plenty of renovation work will be required but there is a large workshop included in the property. Lots of potential and space for Janet's dream kitchen.
If all goes to plan we should have possession by end of November and be able to start some work before Christmas.
We anticipate 3 months of work before being able to move into the house and live there, after that there will still be lots of work to do in the old part of the building.
